Last May, I took a little trip from Paris to the South. A break from the city life and straight to the beach… Right before the unbearable summer heat arrived, May weather treated me nicely as I enjoyed my beach days while still being able to tour the cities. Knowing me however, I might have complained about the heat…just slightly. Staying in a lovely airbnb in Cannes was suitable as you’re able to go around to many nearby cities such as Antibes, Nice, Eze, Monaco and more. Every few km you will stumble upon another little town that has its own incredible aesthetic. One of my favourite towns was Saint-Jean Cap Ferrat. The area was beautifully filled with small shops and restaurants in colourful buildings. Dining by the coast was very memorable too…

As an F1 fan, visiting Monaco was a must…I needed to see the race track. And luckily I did, it was a surreal moment as I always watch the races and if you’re a fan as well you know the significance of the Monaco track.

Reading about all these places in a lot of my novels and actually visiting them and experiencing it first hand is such a surreal moment that I am so grateful for. Living in France means I will for sure be going back to the costal cities. I’m very grateful to be able to explore such beautiful cities. I grew up saving photos of places all around the world in a small Pintrest folder and now that folder is slowly becoming my camera roll….

If you made it this far, thank you I truly appreciate it… & till next trip!
