Crimson Crush

Thrift shopping has lead me to find a love for anything red. I have been wearing these two specific sweaters on repeat all autumn long. Red, black & white has been a colour combination that I am so into, especially with pinstripes! I think it’s timeless and elegant yet the red adds a bit of an edge. I paired that look (image 2) with my white McQueen purse since it compliments the cool toned look I am going for. More ways to pull cool tones with a red combination is adding it with grey tones or blue tones. Super complimentary and works with a variety of different shades.

For Image 1, most of the outfit was thrifted including my fluffy Juicy couture purse that some people might think is outdated, I just think it’s such a nostalgic brand that is making a slow come back. Lastly, I finished the look with my Adidas sambas in red. I admit I fallen for a trend this fall and it is Adidas sambas…I do not like sneakers at all unless they stand out which is what drew me to them in particularly this shade. 

Image 2 and Image 4 were inspired by each other and followed the same colour palette in a different pattern. I paired the last look with a classic button up shirt to tie in with the folded waist of the pants. The pants are the Bureau pant from none other than Aritzia…finally I added my biege trench that is also thrifted. If theres anything to take away form this post is that thrifting is key to finding your personal style and is also a great way to shop sustainably. I highly recommend it to evolve your style while on a budget.
